To promote/facilitate and monitor circular economy commitments related to the selective collection of all products made with textiles.

These commitments are determined by current or future European, federal and regional legislation, related and relevant environmental agreements, other contracts and/or agreements.

Circletex reports on the quantities marketed in Belgium, the selectively collected quantities and the amount of recycled fibres and strives to increase circularity through various channels.

Approach

Facilitation via a digital matchmaking platform:

• relationships/collaboration between end-users, service providers, manufacturers & other stakeholders
• matching supply and demand of materials/products

Facilitate selective collection, sorting and valorisation of:

• pre-consumer textile flows (manufacturing residues, unsold products, ...)
• post-consumer textile flows (used products, end-of-life products, ...)

Application of circular economy principles by facilitating:

• Product maintenance/life extension, reuse/repair
• Upgrading and recycling of raw materials
